Artistic Process: Ragnarök



Brœðr muno beriaz
ok at bǫnom verða[z]
muno systrungar
sifiom spilla.
Hart er í heimi,
hórdómr mikill
—skeggǫld, skálmǫld
—skildir ro klofnir—
vindǫld, vargǫld—
áðr verǫld steypiz.
Mun engi maðr
ǫðrom þyrma

We plan on adding Hugin & Munin on each side of the mask at another time.

 Thor in mortal combat with 4 dragons

From the "Blood Gods" series

 Sköl & Hati on each side of Mjølner
At the end of days the Fenris wolf will break its bonds and run free. Sköl & Hati will succeed in their pursuit of the Sun & Moon, devouring them and signaling the start of Ragnarok 
Third session

 Loki bound until Ragnarok with a serpent placed over his head dripping poison onto his face.
From the "Blood Gods" series and tattooed by hand.


 Nilhögg devours Yggdrasil in flames.
At the time of Ragnarok Nilhögg the serpent will eventually bite through the roots of Yggdrassil and the Giant Surtr will set the World Tree ablaze with his flaming sword.
First session

Odin battles the Fenris Wolf from the "Blood Gods" series
Odin is devoured by Fenris but then avenged by his son, Víðarr who slays the wolf
We will be adding Thor and the Midgaards Serpent down the leg and Hugin & Munin up the back
Thor meets his nemesis the Midgaards Serpent at Ragnarok and slays the beast before succumbing to his own wounds
