Skin & Bone is a combination gallery and tattoo studio. The gallery will exhibit art and ethnographic handicrafts related to tattooing, while the studio will have Colin Dale tattooing alongside various guest artists throughout the year. Through his years of travelling and tattooing around the world Colin has had the pleasure to meet and work alongside a wide range of tattoo artists and experts working in ethnographic and other specialized styles. Amongst these friends, we have hand-tattooists from Borneo, Polynesia and Japan as well as some of the world's leading artists in Blackwork and Dotwork coming to visit. Check the homepage http://www.skinandbone.dk/ to see some of the work

Tattoo Extreme Vol 53 2012

I did an article for Tattoo Extreme in Taiwan 4-5 years ago. I've always been impressed with the size and quality of the photos which in many other asian magazines is reduced to the size of postage stamps. When interviewing foreign artists they also print the interviews in English as well as a Taiwanese translation :-) I ran into them again at a convention last year and told them about the new studio... they asked if I could send some new photos so that they could do another article and help promote me a little. I sent them the photos and waited for the questions, but never heard back :-(  Just got back from Norway and found the latest issue in the post :-) Unfortunately there is no interview... but they did explain using bits of information they found on the net. The first 2 page photo was taken by Nanna and has the arms of Kai Faust, Bjørn, Markus and myself  holding a skull. The tattoos are different Nordic styles tattooed by Kai, Astrid, myself and others
   Enjoy - Colin
