Skin & Bone is a combination gallery and tattoo studio. The gallery will exhibit art and ethnographic handicrafts related to tattooing, while the studio will have Colin Dale tattooing alongside various guest artists throughout the year. Through his years of travelling and tattooing around the world Colin has had the pleasure to meet and work alongside a wide range of tattoo artists and experts working in ethnographic and other specialized styles. Amongst these friends, we have hand-tattooists from Borneo, Polynesia and Japan as well as some of the world's leading artists in Blackwork and Dotwork coming to visit. Art of the North by Vitor Gonzalez


Just wanted to thank Vitor Gonzalez for metioning my work in his new book: 
Art of the North.
Vitor is a graphic artist who has a love of Nordic and Celtic art... however rather than just copying the designs from the past he does both original art in the style as well as new renditions of historical pieces. His book is a collection of designs over many years which are designed for tattooing. In the book he also discusses the history of the various Nordic tribes and the differences in the designs from area and age. 
Due to the tattoo nature of the book he has also included some examples of tattoo artists working specifically in the Nordic style. Other than myself there is also work from my former studio Kunsten på Kroppen as well as Sacred Knot and Meatshop. There is also a artists index to help find Nordic artists in your area.
